All 24 hours in the day shouldn’t be treated the same. 5–8 am are crucially important as there are “no interruptions” during these hours. Most people are sleeping. Once 9 am comes around, you’re expected to reply to slack and email.

I’m not sure I buy your waking hours.

11 pm – 5 am is just 6 hours of sleep per night. And that’s assuming you go right to bed after your peak hours of 7–11pm.

Is 6 hours really enough? Most people need more than that to function properly.
